Previous reviewer must be a competitor I know the owners and they are the nicest couple that will go out of their way to make sure you are fully informed and happy with your purchase. You simply can't go wrong with Kaimuki Camera.

Limited selection. Rude customer service Very unhelpful over the phone. Tiny, tiny store with not much to offer. Owners speak limited English--not that that's bad; it's just difficult to understand them. You're better off ordering online from a more reputable, well-known company.

Poor Customer Svc - Take your business elsewhere Customers need to do too much work to get service. No one answers the phone. Store is closed during suposed open hours. No attention to your needs. Phone inquires are hung up on. It should not be this hard to get some professional equipment on the island. I recommend online stores; don't go here.

very friendly very knowledgable very helpful I can't say enough about the friendly and helpful service the folks at Kaimuki Camera have provided to me.
They definetly are on top of their business, and from personal experience as well as what I've seen when visiting their shop, have gone well out of their way to help their customers select and use the products they sell.
For a small shop such as theirs, they provide me with all the product and customer support that I could ask for.
There have been numerous situations where technical issues with my Canon products prevented me from completing a location shoot. Calling Kaimuki Camera resolved every product related problem that I asked them to help me with.
If expert customer and product support is what you require, then purchasing your camera gear from Kaimuki Camera is the way to go.

great service by knowledgeable owners I've only good things to say about the folks at Kaimuki Camera.
They are very knowledgeable about the products they offer, and always know the latest news about technological advancements and issues concerning their line of products.
From doing business with them over the years, I can honestly say that they are more than willing to go that extra mile when urgent technical help is needed in supporting the products they sell.
They provide expert in-person, on-the-spot timely service, something that an on-line store cannot possibly do. Dealing with technical issues over the phone with on-line store tech help cannot compare with friendly face to face help.
If you're looking for the latest camera products and the expert support that goes with your purchase, Kaimuki Camera is the place to shop.
