Lexie Moon started her interest in music at a young age. At age 10, she got her first guitar, a Sears Roebuck catalog guitar and learned her first song, What Shall We Do With A Drunken Sailor, by reading the booklet that came with the guitar. Her mother was a lover of Hawaiian music and taught Lexie how to play the ukelele. One of her many chores as a youngster was to learn one Hawaiian song per month. The problem the words were in the native Hawaiian language and that was the challenge. Today, she spends most of her time songwriting and composing, drawing/painting, surfing and playing with her dog. When she is not doing any of this, she is usually somewhere out there looking for someone who needs help or a smile.
